Happy Birthday Nik

Nik celebrated his 9th birthday at Kidz In Motion in Woodbridge. He loved having a moonbounce party! And he loved sitting in the giant inflatable chair and he loved his SpongeBob Cake.

He loved it even more when they lit the firecracker candle!

Afternoon Treat

Nik asked me to post this on his page. :) I decided that it was a lovely warm day and that meant we needed ice cream. The kids didn't really understand but they were willing to go along with my plan! (it was not Max's birthday -- he was just wearing the shirt)

First Day of Second Grade!

Mark dropped Nik off at the corner for his first day of school and snapped a few photos.

And I took a few when we got home in the afternoon!

Nik's first day of school went well. He likes his teacher. He knows a lot of his classmates from last year. And he loves walking home with one of our neighbors and playing at her house until I get home from work.

At the weekend Nik said "I love my life!"
