First Day of Second Grade!

Mark dropped Nik off at the corner for his first day of school and snapped a few photos.

And I took a few when we got home in the afternoon!

Nik's first day of school went well. He likes his teacher. He knows a lot of his classmates from last year. And he loves walking home with one of our neighbors and playing at her house until I get home from work.

At the weekend Nik said "I love my life!"

Instead of trusting the school photographer, we opted to dress the kids in their school t-shirts and got professional photos taken. This was Nik's picture from last October. He is currently in first grade at Cardinal Forest Elementary School.
